Dr Meenal Gor

After qualifying from Manchester Medical School in 1997 I completed a wide variety of hospital jobs at Manchester Royal and Wythenshawe hospitals before deciding to do my GP training in 2003.

I have been at Chadsfield Medical Practice since 2005, enjoying working alongside a great team of clinical and non-clinical staff and it is a privilege to look after our patients.

I spent 3 years as the Clinical Director for our Primary Care Network (PCN lead GP for 6 local practices) throughout the COVID 19 pandemic and set up our COVID vaccination sites as well as the introduction of additional NHS services for our patients. I have since furthered my special interest in primary care vaccination programmes.

Having competed my Post graduate certificate in General Practice with UCLAN in November 2023 I am the GP trainer for the practice supervising our GP trainee doctors .

Outside of the practice I enjoy walking, reading, playing the saxophone, piano and violin, and cooking and baking with my two daughters.
