Meet the Team

As a Training Practice we are committed to providing medical students from Manchester University the opportunity to learn about general practice and, hopefully, encourage them to want to be GPs in the future.

We are delighted to confirm that we have received Gold Awards for Excellence in teaching Medical Students in years 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2022.

We very much appreciate all the patients who have been kind enough to assist the practice with this

Reception

Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GP’s and nurses. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription enquiries, dealing with financial claims, dealing with patient records and carrying out searches and practice audits.

We want Chadsfield Medical Practice to be a safe, calm and healthy environment for our patients and staff at all times. Our committed and dedicated staff are our most valuable asset. Verbal and physical abuse or harassment of them is totally unacceptable. We encourage staff and our patients and visitors to report all incidents of harassment and violence.

Police assistance will always be requested when violent incidents occur and Chadsfield Medical Practice will support staff who wish to bring private prosecutions against the perpetrators of abuse or harassment.
