Virology Swabbing

The RSC is a bottom-up, professionally led network of over 1,900 general practices dedicated to monitoring respiratory virus’ circulating in the community (including COVID, influenza) and providing essential data on vaccine effectiveness. For over 60 years we’ve been at the forefront of public health surveillance, contributing to research that influences health policy and producing a weekly report on the prevalence of over 30 infectious diseases nationwide. Our member practices can participate in a range of studies and research projects, including our all-year-round virology and serology sampling, many of which offer financial rewards.
